Lasara has been the proud proprietor of a thriving online teaching and coaching practice for over a decade. She has helped hundreds of clients through major life transitions. Her Entrepreneurial Trainings for Wild Hearts program is rooted in the joy she derives from helping clients find their purpose and make their mark. Lasara loves to help clients transition to online teaching and coaching, and start making money doing exactly the thing that is in them, waiting to be done.

While still working in the world proudly as an ordained Pagan clergy member, she consider herself a true Mystic at heart, and have experienced the awareness that the teachings at the heart of all religions and spiritual methodologies offer opportunity for enlightenment, liberation, and the opportunity for merging with the divine One.

Over the years she has offered workshops and classes on diverse topics; relationships and intimacy, sexuality, Mysticism and spirituality, and many others. She is married to the love of her life and partner in all things wonderful, arduous, glorious, and transformational, Robert Allen, and mother to two amazing daughters. These three are some of her greatest and truest teachers.

She is grateful to live in the wilds of northern California with her sweet little family, and to surround herself with a community of loving, like-minded souls.

and Times
of Doreen Valiente

AMETH TWPT talks to Jonathan Tapsell

Jonathan Tapsell was born in 1964 in Sussex, the last county to  convert to Christianity and only then at the point of the sword. His interests in history and the esoteric led him to be chosen to archive the worlds largest treasury of Witchcraft memorabilia – the Doreen Valiente collection in 1999. The result of Jonathan’s work led to the publication of
Doreen’s poetry being published posthumously in ‘Charge of the Goddess’. His own work includes making action films in Asia, educational documentaries for the House of Lords, organising festivals and writing in numerous magazines. As an author he has written several books including one which is considered a minor gonzo classic.

Ameth is the first definitive biography of Doreen Valiente (1922-1999), an English Witch who became known as 'the Mother of Modern Witchcraft'. Based on the author's work collating her artefacts, interviewing people who knew her, reading and researching numerous personal magical documents and correspondence bequeathed by Doreen, this book gives unparalleled insight into her magical life. Evocatively recreating the atmosphere of British Witchcraft post-1951 after the repeal of the Witchcraft Act of 1735, the author explores Doreen's magical journey, including her initiation and relationship with Gerald Gardner. We are guided on a journey from the 1950's through to the early 1970's as she worked and interacted with Charles Cardell and the Coven of Atho, Robert Cochrane and the Clan of Tubal Cain, as well as the Regency coven. Ameth chronicles the whole of Doreen Valiente's colourful and varied life.

“At this rite Gardner and Dafo gave their new initiate a secret Witch-name known only to those within the Craft. Doreen was from then on to be known as – Ameth. Gardner is likely to have said these words taken from his own Book of Shadows: “Hear, ye Mighty Ones, (Ameth) hath been consecrated Priestess and Witch of the Gods.” before asking the Gods to depart. Ameth true to her secret oaths of the Old Religion would neither disclose to either her husband or mother that she was now a fully-fledged Witch.”…

Traditional Witchcraft TWPT talks to Gemma Gary

Gemma is a student, practitioner, author and artist of the Old Craft. She lives in a remote farm cottage on the outskirts of St Buryan, in Cornwall’s Penwith region; Mainland Britain’s most south-westerly region.  The village and the surrounding area are particularly rich in Witch-lore and ancient sacred stone monuments. From her study window Gemma can see the famous ‘Merry Maidens’ stone circle.

Gemma’s working interests and research encompass witchcraft, folk-magical traditions, folklore and customs of Cornwall, the West and beyond, as well as ‘Modern Traditional Witchcraft’ and the ‘Craft of the Wica’.

In addition to her practices as a working Cornish witch and charm maker, Gemma is the current serving Magistra of Ros An Bucca, a traditionalist Cornish witch kord (clan).

Whilst the public have been well served with numerous books dealing with the history of Cornish witchcraft, Gemma’s first book Traditional Witchcraft - A Cornish Book of Ways has been the first to explore Cornish witchcraft as a continuing, developing and evolving contemporary practice; for working witches and their clients in Cornwall still remain.

The Romani Tarot Deck by Raymond Buckland
An Interview by Melanie Harris

Author of nearly 60 books and an expert on countless occult topics, living legend Ray Buckland, called the "Father of American Wicca," continues to make contributions to the Tarot and Pagan communities.  His enormously popular, hard to find, and highly sought after Buckland-Romani Tarot, illustrated by Lissanne Lake, will soon be back in print, scheduled for publishing at Galde Press this Spring.  I wanted to talk to Ray about what it takes to be a great Tarot reader, and find out the details about his latest creation and his upcoming projects.

Known as "The Father of American Wicca," Ray Buckland was responsible for introducing Wicca to the United States. He was the author of the first American book on the Old Religion written by a witch - WITCHCRAFT FROM THE INSIDE - and has since written nearly sixty others, including the classic BUCKLAND'S COMPLETE BOOK OF WITCHCRAFT and the three encyclopedias: THE WITCH BOOK, THE FORTUNETELLING BOOK and THE SPIRIT BOOK.
